
{"id":202,"date":"2016-07-06T13:42:50","date_gmt":"2016-07-06T11:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.schreiberhuber.eu\/en\/?page_id=202"},"modified":"2018-04-13T13:21:59","modified_gmt":"2018-04-13T11:21:59","slug":"history","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.schreiberhuber.eu\/en\/history\/","title":{"rendered":"History"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>History<\/h1>\n<div class='cols3 cols gap clearfix'>\n<div class='col colspan2 '>\n<p>The chronicles of the <em>Schreiberhuber Farm &amp; Forest Estate<\/em> encompass the closely intertwined histories of three farms, family-owned for more than 700 years: <em>Plassgut<\/em> at Ansfelden, <em>Auhof Residence<\/em> at Kremsm\u00fcnster and <em>Summerauerhof<\/em> at St. Florian.<\/p>\n<h4>1299<strong><br \/>\n <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>First record of <em>Auhof Residence <\/em>at Kremsm\u00fcnster as <em>Curia in Au<\/em>, listed among the Kremsm\u00fcnster Monastery possessions.<\/p>\n<h4>1413\u00a0<\/h4>\n<p>Ulrich von Summerau, the first farmer ancestor of the Schreiberhuber family, features in the St. Florian Monastery chronicle of 1413 as Ulricus de Summerau, administering <em>Summerauerhof<\/em> farm.<\/p>\n<p>The most prominent of the Barons of Summerau were the provincial judge (<em>iudex Austriae superioris<\/em>) Konrad von Summerau, who is presumed to have been the first Upper Austrian Provincial Governor, resident at Ennsburg castle in Enns and Anton Thadd\u00e4us von Summerau (from 1753 the first Further Austrian District President) and his nephew\u2028 Joseph Thadd\u00e4us von Summerau, who was the last Further Austrian District President as of 1791.<\/p>\n<h4>1527<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>First record of <em>Plassgut Estate<\/em> at Ansfelden in the tithe register of Ebelsberg.<\/p>\n<h4>1822<strong> <br \/>\n <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Emperor Franz I of Austria guides his ally Czar Alexander I from Russia in the course of a joint Austria trip to Ansfelden to show him the prosperous agricultural enterprises of his subjects, reports the German travel writer and municipal librarian of Bremen, Johann Georg Kohl, in his 1842 work \u201cReiseberichte \u00fcber \u00d6sterreich, das bayrische Hochland, D\u00e4nemark und Gro\u00dfbritannien\u201d.<\/p>\n<h4>1874<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>After twelve years, the newly built <em>Plassgut<\/em> Estate is completed as it appears today, epitomising an architectural blend of classicist Baroque \/ Josephinism.<\/p>\n<h4>1911<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Completion of <em>Auhof Residence,<\/em> now a listed building, at Kremsm\u00fcnster in the style of late historicism \/ Art Nouveau.<\/p>\n<p>The Ritzlhof Manor, located in Ansfelden, which belonged to Michael Schreiberhuber in 1817, served as the model for the building. In 1875, the Ritzlhof Manor was taken over by the Austro-Hungarian dual monarchy and transformed into a state agricultural facility and fruit orchard.<\/p>\n<h4>1938<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Compulsory expropriation of 23 ha of arable land by Deutsches Reich, now the site of a stretch of the A1 motorway and motorway services.<\/p>\n<h4>1945<\/h4>\n<p>In the post-war years, with Austria occupied by the victorious powers, <em>Plassgut Estate<\/em> served as the headquarters of the US occupying forces for the region of greater Ansfelden.<\/p>\n<h4>1964<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>No more livestock farming; <em>Plassgut Estate<\/em> has since focused on agriculture and forestry.<\/p>\n<h4>1975<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Switch-over to minimum tillage, in parallel with the completion of a scientific paper for the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences. Since then there has been close cooperation with the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna (comparative studies of ploughing and ploughless tillage techniques, economic analyses of energy input, man-hours and CO<sub>2<\/sub> issues).<\/p>\n<p><em>Summerauerhof House<\/em> is taken over by the province of Upper Austria: establishment of a historical farm and open-air museum.<\/p>\n<h4>1988<\/h4>\n<p>Albert Schreiberhuber hands over the estate to his son, Dr. Alfred Schreiberhuber, DI.<\/p>\n<h4>2008<\/h4>\n<p>GPS technology first employed in agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, all tractors and agricultural machines have been fitted with this autonomous state-of-the-art technology.<\/p>\n<h4>2010<\/h4>\n<p>Consistent and comprehensive application of ploughless tillage and primary soil cultivation by grubber.<\/p>\n<h4>2011<\/h4>\n<p>Cooperation with <em>P\u00f6ttinger Agricultural Technology<\/em>: establishment of a demonstration and model farm.<\/p>\n<p>Successful synthesis of the production and practical testing of agricultural machinery.<\/p>\n<h4>2015<\/h4>\n<p>Cooperation with the Canadian company <em>Soucy Track<\/em>: establishment of a reference farm.<\/p>\n<p>First application of tractors with rubber tracks.<\/p>\n<h4>2016<\/h4>\n<p>Close cooperation with the R&amp;D department of <em>Case IH Steyr<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h4>2017<\/h4>\n<p>The conversion of the entire facility after several test years to the AKRA system, in which phytophysiologically important nutrients are mobilized with nitrate-free soil additives and plant growth and plant health are promoted in a resource-saving manner through the enrichment of soil bacteria.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class='col colspan last'>\n<p><a
